Configure, test, document and install customer telephony equipment (ie. handsets, conference phones) Configure and test fiber equipment Remotely diagnose and resolve customer issues Manage phone hardware and Optical Network Terminal (ONT) equipment Conduct thorough discoveries to evaluate customer specific configuration and needs Create long-term documentation to ensure that future customer service interactions are resolved efficiently. Plan telephony installations by studying customer contracts, construction plans, manuals, and customer technical specifications Anticipate project needs; ensure adequate hardware and supplies stocked to ensure successful installation Assist with special projects/process improvements as needed Administrative assistance such as answering and making phone calls
